Tricom Asia has formally closed its RFP for the Terrestrial segment T2 in Hong Kong. Tricom Asia has received a number of competitive proposals from established service providers in Hong Kong. The basic scope of the tender is to supply the following:
Cable Landing Station in Hong Kong
Backhaul capacity
PoP in Hong Kong city centre
Operation & Maintenance services
Tricom Asia intends to take advantage of already existing cable landing infrastructure by long-term co-location and service lease agreements.s
The proposals will be evaluated during October and final negotiation and closure is planned for November 2005.
