Tricom will operate as a Carrier, selling bandwidth services from PoP in Vietnam to PoP in Hong Kong as well as from PoP sites in Europe, Japan and the US to other Carriers, ISP's and large multinational corporations. From its carrier neutral PoP sites Tricom will be able to easily interconnect to global and local communications networks, and sell bandwidth services to international service providers and corporations requiring access to the expanding Vietnamese market. Both Tricom and VNPT will have the opportunity to sell services on the VNHKC System in order to meet the demand of the international market. Tricom will also assist VNPT and other customers with onward capacity beyond Hong Kong as required.
